Not every client or every prospect is right for you, some of them you can’t help and you may know someone else who would be a better fit. By referring them to your referral partners, those individuals will remember you and is a great way to build trust and a working partnership. It is important to remember, the key to giving referrals is to build your referral partners so you can trust they will do a good job and enhance the relationship you built.

You may find potential clients come to you overwhelmed in their business.They need so much help and they don’t know where to start. Help your potential client make a list of what needs to be done to determine if you are right for the position. Help them to recognize the work needed to reach their goals.
